| Finally all 1"SHS for the frame is cut. Much to our dismay we found several more compound angles at the end of the cut list. And its back to another set up for the horizontal band saw. The time required to cut all 1" frame members for all 3 builds was about 17 man-hours. This is about 5.5 hours per frame however much time was saved by dividing the set up time by 3. We expect to take advantage of this fact throughout the entire project. This is only one of the reasons for which I would recommend any one contemplating building a Locost to try to join forces with other competent friends. I suspect Eric of figuring this out first. | ||
